English focus sessions will look at the complexity of some of the comprehension texts. We will cover not only the reading texts but the aspects of grammar, punctuation and literacy techniques children need to be familiar with. Technical English questions usually account for around 25% of a student’s English score. The other 75% is made up of comprehension questions. As such, it forms a key part of the assessment.
